Newton Property Group – Holiday Letting Terms & Conditions


These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Newton Property Group for our holiday properties, including Wongalinga Apartments and any other properties managed by us. By making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Booking & Payment
• A deposit equal to one night’s accommodation is required within 48 hours of booking to secure your reservation.
• The balance of the total tariff is due 30 days before arrival.
• If the balance is not received by the due date, Newton Property Group reserves the right to charge the card used for your booking (plus a 3% credit card processing fee).
• Direct deposit payments are available if requested more than 30 days before arrival.

2. Cancellation Policy
• More than 30 days before arrival: Deposit is refundable less a $50 administration fee.
• 30 days or less before arrival: No refund unless the property is re-let for the same period; an administration fee will still apply.
• We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.

3. Check-In & Check-Out
• Check-in: From 2:00pm (unless otherwise arranged).
• Check-out: By 10:00am on the day of departure.
• Early check-ins and late check-outs may be available upon request but are not guaranteed.

4. Guest Responsibilities
• The property must be left clean and tidy on departure. Excess cleaning may incur additional charges.
• All breakages, damages, or losses must be reported immediately and may be charged to the guest.
• Furniture and furnishings are not to be rearranged.
• Guests are responsible for securing the property when not in use.

5. Occupancy
• The number of guests must not exceed the number stated in the booking confirmation.
• No parties, events, or gatherings are permitted without prior written approval.
• The property is strictly non-smoking indoors.

6. Facilities & Services
• Mobile coverage in Mission Beach: Telstra and Optus have the best reception. Emergency calls are available on all networks.
• Internet, pool, appliances, and other facilities are provided in good faith; no refunds are given for unforeseen outages or breakdowns, but we will make reasonable efforts to restore service.

7. Pets
• Pets are only permitted at pet-friendly properties with prior written approval. Additional cleaning fees may apply.

8. Liability
• Newton Property Group accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings during your stay.
• Guests must take reasonable care for their own safety and the safety of others on the property.

9. Breach of Terms
• Failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions may result in immediate termination of the booking without refund, and additional charges may be applied.
